Hi there,
This guide is for all the new players joining our guild, that just leveld up to 90 and are interested in starting to raid something more challenging then LFR.
Step 1: Gearing up.
To join our flexible raid team, you need to have a minimum item level of 520. To get item level 520 as fast as possible i recommend doiing the celestial world bosses first, and then queu up for raidfinder siege of ogrimmar. If you still lack a few items to reach the requirement, you should head over to the timeless isle and kill rare mobs there, earn some burdens of eternity to upgrade epic gear you have found to an higher item level.
Step 2: Preparation.
I assume you do not want to be the guy holding the entire team up. There are a few things you have to do. First of all, watch the bossfight guides on youtube. I recommend the Fatboss guides but any will do. You need to be aware of every mechanic a little bit more in detail then on raidfinder. After that, it is time to enchant your gear. If you do not know what enchants to buy, you can find it on google, yes on google! Do some work yourself! After that, do the same thing with gems. Once you are properly enchanted and gemmed, go over a small class guide to make sure you know how to play your character in an effective way.
The next important thing in raids in communication, we require you to be online on our teamspeak channel. So we can talk to you if anything needs to be said quickly. If you type ''Teamspeak 3.0 download'' in google, you can find where to download it. Once downloaded, open teamspeak, click on connect. Type in at server info: solarflarewow.mainvoice.net and enter your characters name, then click on connect.
Done? Next step!
Step 3: Be on time!
Make sure to be on time for the raid! We usually start the invites at around 19:45. The last spots are thrown out at 20:00. Being online isnt enough tho. Whisper the player that is doing the raid invites, tell him/her what item level you have, and confirm to him you are full enchanted and gemmed. That should guarantee get you a spot. The player to whisper is mostly me. (Jarsen) If not, just keep an eye on the guild chat.
Step 4: Enjoy yourself.
There is no need to stress out in Flexible raids, actually you dont have to get nervous for any of our raids, the worst thing that could happen is that we gently ask you to come another day. Flexible raids are very friendly and social, a wipe now and then isnt the end of the World (of Warcraft)
